Breaking News: Lana Del Rey Takes Her Final Bow on Instagram
In an unexpected development, the singer Lana Del Rey, best known for her smash hit “Summertime Sadness,” has announced that she will no longer be using the social media site Instagram. The choice was made in response to the announcement of her upcoming tour dates and the debut of her father Rob Grant’s album, “Lost at Sea,” which includes her on two tracks, “Hollywood Bowl” and the album’s title tune.
The musician thanked her fans on Instagram Story and warned her followers that her account would soon be shut down. “Thank you so much for everything,” she said. This account is closed now that Rob’s album is available and you are aware of my upcoming tour dates. According to Female First UK, “Good luck and love u.”
Taking a step back from the stage is nothing new for Lana. In order to prioritise her privacy and concentrate on other professional endeavours, she briefly left Instagram in 2021. “Hi guys, I just wanted to let you know that tomorrow we are going to be deactivating our social media accounts, my social media accounts,” she said in a video post that was posted at the time, outlining the reasoning for her choice. It’s just that I have so many interests and work commitments that need confidentiality and openness.
Lana reminded her followers that despite quitting Instagram, she is still committed to making music and would continue to work on her spoken word, poetry, and music albums.
