Based on the current GLA platform, this electric SUV was first introduced globally three years ago and is now entering the Indian market.
The estimated price is expected to be between Rs 65-70 lakh (ex-showroom). Equipped with a 70.5 kWh battery, the WLTP range on a single charge is reported to be 560 km, with a real-world range of 450-460 km.
The Mercedes-Benz EQA electric SUV is said to deliver a maximum of 140 kW of power and 385 Nm of torque.
The vehicle can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 8.6 seconds, reaching a top speed of 160 km/h. It can be charged up to 80% in 30 minutes using a 100 kW DC fast charger and fully charged in seven hours using an 11 kW wall charger.
It comes with four driving modes: Individual, Comfort, Sport, and Eco.
The car’s cabin is crafted with fabric made from recycled PET bottles.
It features wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, seven airbags including a knee airbag for the driver, driver assistance systems, Mercedes Pre-Safe, second-generation MBUX, Car-to-X connectivity, 64-color ambient lighting, a head-up display, and a flat-bottomed steering wheel.
The Mercedes-Benz EQA will be available in two manufacture paint options (Mountain Grey Magno, Patagonia Red) and seven color options, including Spectral Blue, Polar White, High-Tech Silver, Cosmos Black, and Mountain Grey.
