Chris Evans was announced as PEOPLE’s newest Sexiest Man Alive on Stephen Colbert.
The announcement would be made soon, according to presenter Stephen Colbert of The Late Show with Stephen Colbert on Monday.
Johnson, 50, appeared on The Late Show to announce Evans as PEOPLE’s 2022 Sexiest Man Alive. Evans is Johnson’s co-star in the upcoming holiday film Red One.
(The title was conferred to Johnson in 2016)
