Defying Expectations: Tom Cruise’s Bold Move in ‘MI 7’ with Co-star Pom Klementieff
In Hollywood circles, Tom Cruise is regarded as one of the most adventurous actors out there willing to undertake daring scenes ranging from unbelievable runs atop buildings or now even jumping off towers with motorcycles like in Mission Impossible(MI 7): Dead Reckoning. However, even someone bold like Mr.Cruise tends not always to comply with demands while shooting needed scenes.
During one such intense action scene where his co-star Pom Klementieff and Tom were filming some grappling moments leading up; there came up an instance where his character Ethan Hunt needed to go all out with punches and kicks aplenty; however strange enough only drew back while delivering one specific move requiring him only to land a hard strike! Still part 1 of ‘Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning,’ titled as the seventh edition of the series, is going to be a hit. In it, Cruise will again take on its classic protagonist role with Klementieff portraying his foe Paris.
Unfortunately for Pom, Tom wasn’t too forthcoming to her request where she wanted him to land a hard punch or kick on her abdomen for making the scene look more authentic.
He refused flat out! Stating that he was unwilling to give in while hinting that things may look better without showing such violence even if a fight sequence is involved!
Director Christopher McQuarrie sees Pom’s character as someone who can create disorder everywhere she goes within the storyline itself being depicted in chaotic forms along with rebellious traits.
Meanwhile, according to Klementieff:- “She wreaks havoc wherever she goes… possessing exceptional skills,” in terms of style; furthermore, I stand out prominently amidst supporting actresses for this famous franchise!”
