Samsung Galaxy A34 5G: A Budget-friendly Marvel with 5G Connectivity
Along with the more expensive Galaxy A54 5G, Samsung recently announced the Galaxy A34 5G in India. The Galaxy A33 5G, which was released in India last year, was replaced by this new phone.
Three new features are included in the Galaxy A34 5G: a triple camera arrangement, a new processor, and a fluid 120Hz display. There are two storage options available. The Samsung Galaxy A34 5G is noteworthy since it is currently the most cheap smartphone in India with an IP67 classification, which denotes that it is dust- and water-resistant.
The Samsung Galaxy A34 5G is available in India for a starting price of Rs 30,999 for the 128GB model and a maximum price of Rs 32,999 for the 256GB model. Some of the new features of the phone, like its IP67 classification, which allows it to be used underwater for up to 30 minutes at a depth of 1 metre, are highlighted by modern technology. The Galaxy A34 5G sports a luxury appearance thanks to its identical rear panel design to that of the Galaxy S23 5G.
The phone’s display, a fluid 120Hz AMOLED screen that offers a great viewing experience, is also discussed in the episode. Although it has WideVine L1 DRM, it does not support HDR10+. The Dimensity 1080 SoC in the Galaxy A34 5G is a respectable gaming SoC. However, the hosts advise taking into account the Poco F5 or the iQoo Neo 7 5G if you enjoy competitive gaming.
The Samsung Galaxy A34 5G, which ships with the Android 13-based One UI 5.1 user interface, occasionally slows during operation during the review. They are hoping that Samsung will fix this problem in a subsequent software release. It’s important to note that, being the top device in its class, the Galaxy A34 5G will get four significant Android updates and five years’ worth of security patches.
The Galaxy A34 5G’s triple camera configuration was examined as we moved on to camera performance. While the ultra-wide camera doesn’t perform as well in low light but still captures crisp shots with rich colours, it does so on average. The 5-megapixel macro sensor is passably excellent, but for the best images, steady hands and good lighting are required.
Last but not least, the phone has a remarkable battery life. For more information, see the Gadgets 360 review of the Samsung Galaxy A34.
