From Prison to Freedom: Allison Mack Released Following Guilty Plea in NXIVM Sex-Trafficking Case

From Prison to Freedom: Allison Mack Released Following Guilty Plea in NXIVM Sex-Trafficking Case

Allison Mack, the actress from TV, who confessed to being involved in a sex-trafficking case associated with NXIVM, has been released from a jail in California as per information on a government website.

Remember Mack from ‘Smallville’? Well, in 2021 she got sentenced to three years in jail.

The Federal Bureau of Prisons’ online records confirm that Mack was set free on Monday from a federal correctional facility in Dublin, California. Located near San Francisco. It was the Albany Times-Union that initially reported her release.

Allison Mack has been allowed to leave federal prison for her part in the NXIVM sex cult.

Cooperating with federal authorities turned out to be beneficial for Mack. It helped her receive a shorter prison term compared to what she might have gotten otherwise. The case involved Raniere, who was eventually convicted of sex-trafficking and received 120 years in prison as punishment.

In addition to Mack, members of the group included an heiress to the Seagram’s liquor fortune, Clare Bronfman; and a daughter of TV star Catherine Oxenberg of “Dynasty” fame.

Later, Mack would reject Raniere and feel sorry for her actions.

Mack addressed a letter to the people impacted by her actions. She expressed regret and discussed the opportunity of being on house arrest to confront her own flaws.
