Although Black Adam introduces a potent anti-hero to the DC Extended Universe, the film doesn’t particularly wow us. . The movie is an adaptation of the beloved JSA comic book series featuring Black Adam, whose ruthless sense of justice challenges the heroes to reconsider their conceptions of good and evil.
“‘Black Adam’ isn’t horrible; it’s just formulaic and color-by-numbers, ripping off previous movies like a super-villain of intellectual property. Johnson, though, is a natural in the lead part, balancing strength with levity and able to deliver those essential wooden lines, according to Mark Kennedy of the AP.
